My wife and I are the proud owners of a 2003 smart passion coupe, the first in Idaho. This car was imported to the United States from Europe by ZAP and converted to meet US DOT and EPA specifications by G&K. We purchased it in late March of 2006. We are charter members of the smart car club of Idaho.

We have been averaging 45 mpg city and 50 highway with the smart car. Upgrades that we have done include:

second body panel set (phat red) to swap with our original star blue panel set
OEM clock and tachometer pods
OEM CD tray
OEM cup holder
OEM floor mats
OEM sun shade
K&N air filter

As can be seen below, we have had fun with the car, including racing it at the Hole Shot at Northwest Motorfest and entering it in the McCall Winter Carnival Mardi-gras parade.
